Cijin Island is a great place to bicycle. It is home to a bike path that skirts the entire island. In addition to soaking in the ocean views while cycling, you can visit the Matsu Temple, Cijin’s seafood street, Starry Tunnel, the Cijin Seashell Museum, Windmill Park, Cijin Fish Market, the YM Museum of Maritime Exploration, Cihou Fort, and Cijin Lighthouse.
Bicycles can be easily rented near Cijin Ferry Pier for $100NT per day. You can also bring your own bicycle on the ferry. The price for the ferry ticket is $30NT for both you and the bicycle. Cycle rickshaws, like the all-too-awesome Cinderella carriage pictured above, can also be rented near Cijin Ferry Pier and will set you back upwards of $200NT for 20 minutes.
