Is it Friday already? I don’t know about you, but for me this week has flown by. I think all of these sunny days have helped. Here’s to hoping next week is just as sunny and nice.
I’m very excited for this weekend. Tomorrow is Smithsonian Magazine’s Museum Day Live during which hundreds of museums around the country offer free admission provided you print a ticket from the Smithsonian’s website. I hope I get the chance to take advantage of this great deal!

Favorite Fall Treat: Apple Cake. Okay, shameless self-promotion here, but it really is one of my favorites. I am craving all things apple lately and certainly will be using some of my next free time to make one of these seasonal sweets.
Favorite Manifesto: The Maptia Manifesto. Because we all need a good manifesto in our lives.
Favorite Upcoming Events: 12 things you absolutely must do in Chicago this fall. I haven’t had the chance to spend much time in Chicago since moving back to Indiana. I am hoping that at least a few of these events will give me a good excuse to spend some time in my favorite city.
Favorite Travel Wardrobe: Minimalist Travel Packing. My goal for my next (and longest!) trip is to pack as little as possible. This wardrobe gives some fantastic starting points in that endeavor.
Favorite Camping Tips: 41 Genius Camping Hacks You’ll Wish You Though Of Sooner. It’s almost October and that means my family’s annual camping trip is just around the corner. We are definitely going to have to use some of these tricks this year!

I definitely loved the camping tips. Even though we don’t go camping very often some of the tips will even work great for life in our back yard. They were very helpful. Great ideas!
